Discover a hidden forest ravine on this half-day guided adventure through the Lorze Valley—an enchanted world of ancient woodlands, a long cascading river, and Switzerland’s most famous dripstone caves. Just minutes from Zug, this route offers a peaceful yet spectacular slice of the Swiss outdoors. Beginning with a short bus ride from Zug, your English-speaking Alpine Explorers guide will lead you along the Lorze River, where mossy gorges, wooden bridges, and secret glades create a magical atmosphere. Depending on your group’s preferences, we can hike upstream toward the legendary Höllgrotten caves or start at the top and descend gradually. Optional stops include the fairytale-like Höllgrotten Caves, or lunch beside the rushing river at Restaurant Höllgrotten. Whether you’re here for the nature, the geology, the history, or just a peaceful escape into the trees, this tour delivers a refreshing and local Swiss experience.
